It's the start of a new season in FIFA 22, as Season 2 officially kicked off on November 11th. The season includes a number of new items and packs and is highlighted by items chosen at levels 15 and 30. FIFA users can choose between one of three Storyline players and at level 15, and again at level 30. Which ones should you choose? Let's take a look at the options.
FIFA 22 FUT Season 2 Player Rewards Level 15 and 30 Storyline
Unlike Season 1, FIFA 22 players can choose from one of three players at level 15. The players are:
Level 15
Ogechika Heil
Josh Pask
Pedro Teixeira
And as for the level 30 rewards:
Level 30
Karlan Grant
Lincoln
Marco van Ginkel
You need 26.600 XP for level 15 and 100.000 XP to reach level 30. You can get XP by playing and in turn completing objectives.
Recommendations
As for the level 15 rewards, it's safe to say it would be wise to skip the keeper. There are a number of other Portuguese goalkeepers in FIFA 22 (Rui Patricio, Lopes) who are comparable to Pedro Teixeira. This leaves this decision to Pask and Heil.
Heil bonds well with the German and Eredivisie players, and the winger's pace and dribbling characteristics are strong. Pask, on the other hand, can work really well with PL defenders like Stones, Maguire, Wan-Bissaka. and Alexander-Arnold, and has solid pace and defensive attributes. Our preference is that of Josh Pask, but Heil is certainly not a bad choice, especially if you want to manage an Eredivisie themed team.
The decision on level 30 rewards is much more difficult. Karlan Grant doesn't have the best passing stats, nor the very good ratings of Skill Moves and Weak Foot (both 3 *), but his speed, shooting and dribbling attributes are all excellent. As for Lincoln, the Brazilian midfielder has great all-around attributes, outside of the defensive stats. PSV midfielder Marco van Ginkel is the latest level 30 award and the Dutch midfielder has good all-round stats. And if you're looking to build an Eredivisie-themed squad, van Ginkel has the highest score among that league's midfielders.
van Ginkel would be the most versatile of the three due to its general characteristics. This is especially true when you consider that the Eredivisie will most likely get more higher rated cards to associate with this item. However, don't sleep on Lincoln, especially with those solid stats and Brazil's chemical bond.
