FIFA 22: How the FUT Numbers Up promo works

In mid-November 2021, EA Sports and FIFA 22 released a new promo in Football Ultimate Team (FUT). The new promo is called Numbers Up and is about footballers and their shoes. This event is slightly different from some of the others that have been released in FIFA 22, but it includes two components: new cards and updates that will happen in the future. Here's how the promo works.

This event is a cross promotion with Adidas and it's all about the kicks. For this promotion, EA Sports will be releasing limited-time cards of select footballers wearing Adidas boots on the pitch.

These cards are eligible for future updates throughout the year. A stat of a Numbers Up player will be gradually increased to 99. Other attributes will also receive an update, albeit a smaller one.

The stat that is boosted depends on the boot. Three boots are involved in this promotion and they are all from Adidas: X, Predator and Copa.

The boosts for the three boots are as follows:

• X - Rhythm
• Predator – Dribbling (outfielders)/Handling (netminder)
• cup - Passing

Outside of the initial stats update, Numbers Up items will receive two additional upgrades. One will arrive at the end of December. The second update will take place in 2022, although the date, according to EA, is not determined as of November 12.
