FIFA 22: how to complete Lionel Messi's TOTY Teams challenge against Robert Lewandowski

The FIFA 22 Team of the Year (TOTY) promotion is ongoing, and to coincide with the launch, EA Sports and the FIFA team have released a new Teams challenge. Two TOTY players, PSG forward Lionel Messi and Bayern Munich forward Robert Lewandowski, are featured in this event. So what are the goals and rewards? Let's take a look.

How to complete the Messi vs. Lewandowski Teams

To select a side for this challenge, click on the Achievements tab at the bottom left of the FUT Main Menu. Scroll to the Teams section, then select Messi or Lewandowski, depending on your preference.

We should note that once your selection is made, that player's TOTY Loan card will be added to your collection.

If you select Messi, here are the objectives to be achieved for this challenge:

• Surprising instinct - Score three goals with an RW in a Squad Battles match per min. Professional difficulty (or rivals) (reward is 300 XP)
• Perfect passage - Assist a PSG player in five separate Squad Battles (or Rivals) matches (reward is 600 XP)
• League Leader 1 - Win five Squad Battles matches per min. Professional difficulty matches (or Rivals) with at least seven Ligue 1 players in the starting lineup (reward is 600 XP)
• Handyman - Assist and score in the same match using a Ligue 1 player (reward is 500 XP)

If you were to choose Lewandowski, these are the following goals:

• Surprising instinct - Score three goals with an ST in a Squad Battles match per min. Professional difficulty (or rivals) (reward is 300 XP)
• Perfect passage - Help a Bayern Munich player in five separate Squad Battles (or Rivals) matches (reward is 600 XP)
• The best in the Bundesliga - Win five Squad Battles matches per min. Professional difficulty matches (or Rivals) with at least seven Bundesliga players in the starting lineup (reward is 600 XP)
• Handyman - Assist and score in the same match using a Ligue 1 player (reward is 500 XP)

Users will need to complete at least one objective in order to be eligible for the rewards. The group reward is a Premium Electrum Players Pack and the team reward for the winning team is a Premium Gold Pack

If you're trying to make a decision based on the early numbers, it looks like Messi's team are ahead ahead of time. The gap between the two sides, however, is narrow. The information is accurate at the time of this writing
