Genshin Impact: A Study of Potions Sealed Ruins Event Guide

A new event is available in Genshin Impact version 2.4. In this part of the event, Timaeus is creating some Smoky Potions as an inspiration for his alchemy. He asks you to test the effects of these potions in neighboring domains, where they will give you a variety of buffs.

These domains pits you against challenging enemies that increase in difficulty as you clear more levels. Potions will help you in battle, however, making things a little easier.

Here is the location of the Sealed Ruins domain:

Each domain has four challenge stages that you can select in any order. When you clear a stage, the difficulty of the other stages increases in difficulty. For simplicity, this guide will cover steps from step 1 to step 4.

Defeat all opponents within a given time limit to complete the challenge. The faster you finish, the better your score will be. And the better your score, the better your rewards will be.

Here are the requirements for Phase 1. You can choose to increase the difficulty of the enemies in the Accurate Sample menu, increasing the points you get.

You can also choose to use test characters for the challenge, even if they don't count towards your elemental resonance. You can also equip potions that will provide your characters with certain buffs. Make sure you equip 3. Note: The chosen characters will be temporarily on standby. This means that if you choose a team for Phase 1, you cannot reuse it for Phase 2. This also applies to potions.

Recommended characters

The first two stages have a lot of mobs that can be affected by crowd control. Using Anemo characters such as Sucrose, Venti or Kazuha it will help a lot here. You should bring a team here that relies on Elemental Reactions.

The third stage has tons of Pyro Slime and two Pyro Abyss Mage. Bringing a Hydro character is highly recommended here. A team rotation of Tartaglia, Kazuha, Xiangling e Bennett it will work very well, as Xiangling, Bennett and Kazuha can kill the Abyss Lector eventually.

The fourth stage has tons of tanky Ruin Grader and Ruin Guards. Guide of Itto large amounts of damage can help you complete this level quickly, as can similar units Xiao.
