Genshin Impact: All Pyro characters ranked

Genshin Impact: All Pyro characters ranked

The characters of Genshin Impact are divided into a certain element and each character has a different degree of usefulness. It's great to have characters from different elements to diversify your teams and elemental reactions, so it's important to know which characters from each element are worth.

The Pyro element in Genshin Impact is widely known as one of the best elements in the game, having access to strong reactions like Melt and Vaporize. Many Pyro characters in Genshin Impact help define the meta, with most of the strongest teams in the game using at least one Pyro character. The element is incredibly varied and you will likely use a Pyro character on one of your teams.

Pyro characters have access to tons of damage due to elemental reactions, even if the character is prone to a supporting role. As a result, you will do a lot of damage while using the Pyro element.

Here are all the Genshin Impact Pyro characters ranked, from least useful to greatest impact.

Amber

I think everyone saw it coming. Amber is one of the free starting characters in the game and is known for being the worst character in the game.

Fortunately, all of Genshin Impact's characters are vital. If you really like Amber and want to use her as your main one, you can make her work. There is still no content that cannot be deleted by any of the characters. That said, Amber has little damage, she is clumsy, and unfortunately she earns herself the title of worst character in the game.

xinyan

Genshin Impact: All Pyro characters ranked

Xinyan's biggest problem is that its kit doesn't make a lot of sense. He reduces both DEF and ATK, making it difficult to build. Xinyan is viable as a support with its shield, or the main DPS specializing in physical damage, but it doesn't excel at that either.

Its support and damage-dealing abilities improve at high constellations, so it's not impossible to use Xinyan well. It won't be easy though, and it's only recommended for true Xinyan lovers.

yanfei

Yanfei is a good main DPS that combines well with characters like Xingqiu. She has strong single target DPS, but competes with Hu Tao for that single target niche. Unfortunately, Yanfei pales in comparison.

She is a four-star character, however, which makes her easily accessible to most players. She is certainly not the worst DPS main character in the game, so use her if you want.

Klee

Genshin Impact: All Pyro characters ranked

Unfortunately, Klee fell a bit off the mark. Klee is a soft champion and does great damage only if you can use difficult technology with her.

Perhaps the worst part about Klee is that the difficulty doesn't match the reward. She is still a capable main DPS character and will serve you well if you have her.

Alba

Diluc suffers a fate similar to Klee. He is not comparable to many of the modern main DPS characters in the game. Diluc still does a lot of damage and you can erase any content with him, but you'd better invest in another character.

However, if you like Diluc and have it, it's a strong option as a lead. It just has a little bit of power crept in at this point.

Yohimiya

Genshin Impact: All Pyro characters ranked

Yoimiya's release was controversial, due to a lot of problems she had with her kit. Being a bow character who focuses on normal attacks, she has issues with targeting and dealing area damage.

Its AoE is pretty bad, but its single-target damage can rival many of the other main DPS in the game. She isn't even noticeably stronger than Klee or Diluc, and you can probably swap her for the previous two in any order.

Hu Tao

Genshin Impact: All Pyro characters ranked

A potentially controversial placement. Hu Tao is an expensive character, shining if you have his first Constellation and his signature weapon, Staff of Homa. Otherwise, while his single-target damage is good, he is honestly comparable to one of the other strongest characters in the game.

She is placed in third place simply because she is an expensive character. Her damage potential is incredibly high with immense investments, but otherwise she's by no means a must-have attraction.

Xiangling

Genshin Impact: All Pyro characters ranked

Xiangling is one of the strongest sub-DPS characters in the game, with the potential to inflict extremely high amounts of damage with her Elemental Burst. She and Bennett are the cornerstone of some of the strongest teams in the game: the National and International comp.

Its strength comes from many of its mechanics. His Burst can activate Pyro on every hit, which means his Elemental Reactions are fast. Once you hit Constellation Four with her, her Burst gets even stronger. The best thing is that Xiangling is completely free for All Players. One of his most powerful weapons, The Catch, is also free for All Players. She is a tremendously easy character to invest in, which makes her very flexible.

Bennett

Genshin Impact: All Pyro characters ranked

The almighty Bennett once mocked as a Diluc discount in the early days of the game. Its value is now widely known, as it is currently the strongest bearing in the game.

His attack boost is absurdly strong, adding damage to almost any team. Healing him is strong enough to keep your team healthy, and he can deal large amounts of damage with his Elemental Ability and Elemental Blast. Bennett belongs to nearly every team, with only a few teams in the game not appreciating his presence. Bennett is arguably one of the strongest Genshin Impact characters ever.
