Genshin Impact: "Lotus Eater" mission guide.

The Genshin Impact patch 2.4 update introduced a lot of new content along with new missions and rewards. One of the missions that players must complete is "Lotus Eater" in Enkanomiya. To help players complete the task, we have put together a detailed guide that details each step.

Start of the Lotus Eater mission

Starting the Lotus Eater mission is not easy, as you have to meet some prerequisites first. Set Enkanomiya to Evernight and head to the northwestern teleport point of the Serpent Heart ruins. Once you reach there, jump off the cliff to the north, where you will find a cave. Enter the cave and keep walking until you reach a wall with symbols engraved on it. Climb the wall and sit in the center of these five symbols for a few seconds. Once finished, the symbols will start to light up and dots will appear around each symbol in the shape of a small arrow. These points are essential for the next part of your research, so write them down.

Return to the teleport point you used earlier and enter the nearby shrine. Here you will find the same five symbols as before, along with five doors with a symbol on them. According to the dots that first appeared around each symbol, you have to go through every single door. Start with a single dot symbol around it and follow the same steps until all five are completed. Once this is done, a ghost will appear that you need to interact with. After talking to the ghost, inspect the nearby stone tablet and interact with the ghost again. This will start the Lotus Eater mission.

How to solve the Lotus Eater Riddle

After interacting with the spirit inside the shrine, you will need to meet another spirit in The Narrows. Once you reach the designated location, you will come across the lantern puzzle. The main goal of the puzzle is to turn on all three lanterns by turning on the switch located next to each lantern. However, this must be done in the correct order, otherwise the puzzle will not be completed. The correct order to solve the puzzle is given below:

• Right
• City Center
• They left
• They left
• Right
• City Center

Once the puzzle is solved, a nearby door will open. Enter the cave, where you will find another switch. Use the switch to activate Night mode and keep walking. After a while you will run into another spirit. Interact with the spirit and prepare for the final stage of the quest.

Completion of the Lotus Eater mission

The next part of the mission requires you to obtain the Water of Lethe. This can be done by heading to the designated location on the Temple of Evernight island. Finally, using Lethe's Water, climb the Dragonbone Tower. Once the climb is finished, the mission will end and you will receive Dragonbone Orb as a reward.
