The Flute is a 4-star weapon that greatly increases a character's Attack. The weapon is part of the Wanderer's Troupe series of weapons, an unofficial title for a set of weapons that share the same tradition. The Wanderer's Troupe series consists of The Stringless, The Bell, The Flute and Widsith.

As a 4-star weapon, the Stringless is obtainable from the Standard Banner, the Featured Banner, and the Weapon Banner. You can get this weapon at any time from all three banners, making it an attractive option for free-to-play or low-cost players. Occasionally, this weapon will have a speed boost on the weapon banner, so keep your eyes peeled if you need this weapon.

• Passive: Tune: Normal or charged attacks grant harmonic to hits. Gaining 5 harmonics activates the power of the music and deals 100% ATK DMG to surrounding enemies. Harmonics last up to 30 seconds and a maximum of 1 can be achieved every 0,5 seconds.

Is the flute okay?

The Flute isn't a great weapon, but it's a suitable replacement weapon if one of your Sword characters needs more Attack. The passive of the Flute is generally bad, it does not contribute in any way to the damage of a single character.

You should only invest in this weapon if one of your characters absolutely needs an offensive weapon. Considering putting The Flute on a character like Keqing, Kaeya, or Ayaka if you have nothing else for them.
