One such Pokemon is the Galarian Slowking, which is a powerful Poison / Psychic type Pokemon.

How to capture the Galarian Slowking

Galarian Slowking is not available in nature. You will first need to find a Slowpoke in the Isle of Armor and then evolve it into a Slowking using a special item called "Galarica Garland".

To get a Galarica wreath, you need to exchange some Galarica twigs with an NPC in the Roaring Sea Caves area.

First, head to Armor Island or the Crown Tundra and look for the glowing twigs found under the trees.

After you have collected 15 twigs, make your way to the area of ​​the roaring sea caves and then cross the freezing sea.

You will need to stay at the bottom of the giant's bed, which means you can't climb any hills or cliffs.

You will arrive at Giant's Foot which will lead you to the Roaring Sea Caves. Enter the caves and travel straight east until you reach the Frigid Sea.

When you exit the caves, there will be a river on your left. Hop on your bike and travel along this river to find the lady who sells the Galarian Wreath.

When you finally get your hands on the wreath, give it to your Slowpoke to transform it into a Galarian Slowking.

How to make Galarian slowking evolve

The Galarian Slowking has no further evolutions in Pokemon Sword and Shield.

Strengths and weaknesses

Since Galarian Slowking is a Poison / Psychic-type Pokemon, it is strong against Grass and other Poison-type Pokemon. This means that they will take 0,5 times the damage from them.

On this flip side, Galarian Slowking is weak against Ground, Ghost, and Dark-type Pokemon, meaning it will take double the damage from them.
