How to fix the content pack no longer available error in Call of Duty: Warzone

Call of Duty: Warzone is a huge game with lots of moving parts. Between the regular updates it gets across multiple platforms and its connectivity with multiple other Call of Duty games, issues are expected to run into every now and then. If you are playing on PlayStation or Xbox, you may have come across an error message called development error 6039 saying "The content pack is no longer available". Here's how to fix it.

If you received the error The content pack is no longer available in Call of Duty: Warzone, it means that part of the game is damaged.

Check for updates

We recommend that you first exit the game and check if your game is updated to the current version.

On PlayStation, press the Options button on your controller while in the game tile and select Check for Updates.

On Xbox, open My Games & Apps and, on the left side of the screen, go to Manage. Click Updates and wait for your console to search the library for games for which an update is available.

Reinstall the game

If you don't have an update or keep getting the error after that update, you may need to uninstall the game and reinstall it again to fix it. While this is rather annoying with the size of a Warzone file, this appears to be the most reliable way to get the game working again.

To uninstall on PlayStation, press Options on the game tile and choose Delete. When done, go to the Game Library and find the game to reinstall it.

On Xbox, find the game tile and press the Menu button. Go to Manage Game and Add-ons. On the left is a button that says Uninstall everything. Choose that and once the game is off your disc, select the checkbox again to get an option to re-enable it.
