How to get the wrench-shaped ward in Genshin Impact

The last barrier that players will have to break for the Cleansing Defilement quest is the Kamisato Estate barrier, but they will also have to find a barrier to start the puzzle. The key-shaped neighborhood is nearby, and in this guide we'll show you where to find it.

To start, players will need to head a little north of the Kamisato estate. Here, on a protruding spur of rock near the coast, they will find an earthen Kitsune statue that they can scan with the Memento Lens. You can see the exact location marked by the red square below.

After scanning the Earth Kitsune and hitting the larger Kitsune that spawns with some Electro skills, the key-shaped Ward will appear. Players can then pick it up and head to Waverider's spawn area on the map to the east.

Next, head to the Kamisato Estate barrier location and solve the puzzle to face the barrier guardian and progress your quest. When this is complete, you will have yet another cleanup to perform, this time at Mount Yougou.
