How to regenerate as an operator in Ghosts of Verdansk for Call of Duty: Warzone

With Call of Duty: Warzone kicking off its annual Halloween extravaganza, dubbed The Haunting, players are sure to see some spooky new ways to experience battle royal. First, the limited-time Ghosts of Verdansk game mode will allow fallen soldiers to transform into soul-thirsty ghosts. While they may not be able to cross the Gulag this time, there is a way these ghosts can regenerate as operators.

After a player dies in The Haunting's Ghosts of Verdansk, players will find that their floating ghosts will be able to swing against opposing enemies, but this will only be effective if the enemy is outside one of the frightened land territories . After a ghost has dealt enough damage with this attack, it will collect a soul for each elimination rolled. Once a total of three souls have been collected, the ghost will be given the opportunity to regenerate in its Operator.

While this may be too daunting a task, ghost players have the ability to slow down enemies with a Spectral Blast. This move comes in the form of a short-range wave that stuns and slows all nearby enemies and vehicles. Additionally, this move, along with punches, can even disable Sacred Ground territories across the map, ultimately allowing your ghost to access these operator-protected areas.

Speaking of Operators, October's The Haunting will offer Warzone fans the opportunity to unlock horror movie-themed villains in the form of Ghostface Shouts and Donnie Darko is Frank the Rabbit. However, like the Ghosts of Verdansk game mode, these skins will only be available for a limited time.
