How to unlock the Nessus Obelisk in Destiny 2

The Nessus Obelisk appeared in Destiny 2, so in this guide we will show you how to unlock it. The first step is to visit Osiris at the Mercury Sundial. Talk to him and he should give you a chance to grab two new missions. Nessus: Obelisk Attunement is what you need to start unlocking the Nessus Obelisk.

Step 1: Nessus: restore operation

For the first step you will need to collect fifty undamaged Vex parts. To do this, you need to destroy the Vex enemies. Go to the Artifact Art on Nessus, drop ashore from the spawn point and head to the Lost Sector on the left. This Lost Sector is filled with Vex and you will have collected the fifty pieces before you even open the cache at the end. When you've collected all fifty parts, go to the Exodus Black spawn point, then climb the rocky outcrop and interact with the Obelisk to begin repairing it.

Step 2 – Nessus: Light Collection

For this step, you will need to collect the light until the progress bar has reached 100 percent. To do this, you will kill the enemies with your skills, your Super and you will collect orbs of light. Equip a Masterworked weapon or two to drop lots of glowing orbs, then kill any enemies you can find. Keep using skills and super to get your kills until you've fully charged the light charge to 100 percent. Again, it won't take long.

Once you've gathered all the Light you need, return to the Nessus Obelisk and interact with it. And there you have it, the Nessus Obelisk is now up and running and you can connect it to the sundial to affect the rewards you can earn.
