What is combat pace in Call of Duty: Vanguard? How to change the pace of combat

Call of Duty: Vanguard gives you the ultimate freedom over any title in the series with many single player and multiplayer modes to play. And in addition to the 20 maps available in the game, there is a new Combat Pacing feature that will allow you to tweak your gaming experience however you like. Here's how it works.

Combat Alter the number of players you want in the match with three different modes: Tactics, Assault and Blitz. Everyone adds their own atmosphere to the match, from tactics to utter chaos on the screen.

• Tactical (green)
  • Tactical features have increased engagement time between players with a more intimate environment with 6v6 match types. This is a more traditional type of game for diehard Call of Duty fans who don't want meaningless gameplay.
• Blitz (purple)
  • Blitz fills the map with 14-24 players per team for a fast-paced battle. On a map like Hotel Royal, you will see grenades and bullets flying along the corridor and bar areas of the map. Good luck because you will need it.
• Assault (orange)
  • 20-28 players battle for dominance in two teams of 10-14 with a slightly reduced form of Blitz. There is still a lot to do, but it is much more manageable. It is somewhere in between.

If you have a specific combat rhythm type in mind, you can set your preferences in the Filters menu. To the right of "Quick Play" in the multiplayer menu, you will see a "Filter" tab. On the selection, you will see three vertical lines with scaled circles from top to bottom. Press the cross button (A button on Xbox) on the Filter tab. Once there, press the square button (or the X button on Xbox).

Unfortunately, the game doesn't always suit your preferences, but the feature will likely give you the correct results whenever the developers keep working on Call of Duty: Vanguard.
