In addition to being the weapon Link wielded in previous games, it is the strongest sword in the game, does not break or damage, and is capable of dealing massive damage to enemies. To find it you have to head to the Lost Woods (typical of the series), located in the Forest of Hyrule, to be precise north of the castle and west of Mount Death. Do not try to fly into the woods as you will be teleported out, the only way to enter is to pass by the forest tower to the southeast of the woods.
The forest is protected by a magical fog, getting lost is very easy but in this article we will see how to reach the Sword without problems. Below we present the map that shows you the exact position of the Wood where the sword is located:
How to cross the Forest of Hyrule
The Sword is set in a rock and only a brave warrior can extract it and then wield it. Reaching it is not an easy task without directions. Once you have entered the forest, continue following the torches until you reach two braziers, at this point there are two ways to continue:
- Walk slowly towards one direction and if the fog tries to take you back immediately, in this way sooner or later you will find the sword
- Following the instructions that we report below
To be on the safe side, proceed as follows:
- From the two braziers go in the direction of the tree with your jaws wide open and pass it
- Turn right to where there are monstrous faced trees
- Once you reach a small hill on the left, turn in that direction and follow the path
How to extract the Master Sword
Finding the sword is not enough, you must also have the requisites to extract it and wield it. Once in the woods where the sword is located, find a Shrine nearby and activate it, in this way you can unlock a quick teleport near the Master Sword to retrieve it later. To withdraw it you will need to have at least 13 red hearts (yellow ones are not valid).
How to get hearts?
- Eliminating the bosses
- By completing 4 shrines and speaking to the goddess Hylia (for every 4 completed shrines, the goddess rewards you with a heart or stamina bar)
Once you have recovered the sword, you can use it against enemies, the damage inflicted is 30 and it does not break but takes time to recharge.
