Amenoma Kageuchi in Genshin Impact - how to get it, stats, materials for ascension

The Amenoma Kageuchi is a free four-star sword weapon in Genshin Impact and is arguably one of the best free-to-play options in the game. But such a strong weapon can only be obtained by first jumping through some hoops.

First, travelers must travel to Jinren Island to begin the worldwide quest: A Farmer's Treasure. Head to the top of the mountain in the center of the island. There, you have to rescue a trapped man locked in a cage. You will have to fight a little and find the key, which should be stuck at the top of a tree next to the cage.

After freeing the man, your next task is to obtain four Old Stone Slate found in different locations in Inazuma. Find the first Stone Slate near the Kamisato estate. You will find it under a purple curtain. You can find the next two Stone Slates in Araumi. Note, you need the Memento Lens to proceed in this area. Without them, you won't be able to get the Stone Slate.

Use the memory lens to scan the fox sanctuary in Araumi's well. You will have access to a secret underground area where you can find the other two blackboards. Go left to find a hole in the ground, which will lead you to a submerged area of ​​Araumi. Continue to the left, go up the nearby ladder and you will find the Stone Slate near a mountain of dirt. Solve the puzzle nearby, then go to the Waypoint teleporter which unlocks. The next Stone Slate is close to the shipwreck.

The latest Stone Slate is in the village of Konda. There is a well there where you can go down, as long as you have completed the prerequisite mission. If you go to the lower level, there will be an Electro Barrier that you can pass through. Go through the barrier to reach a hidden room, where you will find the last Stone Slate.

Return to Jirou. He will send you to a waterfall in Araumi to find another item, but after exploring, you will find that it is not there. He returns to Jiren Island and Jirou will be captured once again. Free him one last time and he will give you a key. He will unlock a nearby trap door that will lead you to a final puzzle that you need to solve. Fortunately, it's not difficult at all. You just have to step on all the tiles without stepping on them twice.

You will be able to complete the mission from there. At the end of the mission, you'll get a blueprint for the Amenoma Kageuchi, which requires a Northlander sword billet, x50 pieces of amethyst, and x50 pieces of white iron.

Is the Amenoma Kageuchi good?

The Amenoma Kageuchi is a good weapon for explosive mounts that have elemental abilities with low cooldowns and have energy recharge requirements. It's a good F2P option for Jean, due to the low cooldown of her elemental ability. You can also put it on a Kaeya if you don't have the lion's roar or the holiday wish.

It is not recommended to use this weapon on Bennett. The ATK buff on her Elemental Burst scales down from base ATK, so the Prototype Rancor will provide more utility in the end due to Amenoma Kageuchi's low base ATK stat.
