Genshin Impact: Prototype Amber - How to get it, stats and materials for ascension

The prototype is a free 4-star catalyst available to all players. There is no special unlocking requirement, but making the weapon requires some grinding. This is because the weapon requires a Northlander Catalyst Billet, which is only available via weekly boss launches or as mission / exploration rewards.
