How to get Artifice armor in Destiny 2

The hunt for new loot in Destiny 2 continues with the Bungie 30th Anniversary Pack and the FPS has a new added perk in the DLC that offers powerful potential to players called Artifice Armor. Gear with the perk gives Guardians a bonus mod grip for equipping seasonal armor mods, allowing for a wider range of gear possibilities to defeat pesky Champion enemies or maximize weapon and skill kill potential.

So far the only known source for armor with the Artifice perk is the Grasp of Avarice dungeon when completed on Master difficulty, on the Corrupting Echo, Decending Echo and Twisting Echo sets for Warlock, Titans and Hunters. The 1360 difficulty level means Guardians will want to come with a strong fire team and the right champion gear ready ahead of time.

Although the armor is set to keep the same additional slot from season to season, the specific mods that players can place in that slot will change every few months along with the introduction of new artifacts and armor mods in Destiny 2. One Once the Artifice armor is in your inventory, you'll want to make sure you keep it stocked with mods that suit your play style and fit the current challenges of a given season.

The dungeon offers players three drop possibilities for Echo armor sets and each grants a single piece of armor, so several dungeon runs are a must to ensure the drops the Guardians are chasing. Completing Grasp of Greed is also a necessity for the catalyst of the iconic Gjallarhorn rocket launcher, so familiarizing yourself with the task has additional benefits. We recommend that you perform the normal Legend difficulty before extracting the Loot Cave for its best riches.
