How to get faster ADS times with snipers in Call of Duty: Vanguard multiplayer

With Call of Duty: Vanguard implementing its all-new Combat Pacing feature, multiplayer matches have become chock-full of players, ultimately rewarding run-and-gun style of play over everything else. So, for snipers, the most crucial element in dealing with these fast opponents is having a very fast downward aim (or ADS). At first, zooming in will be unbearably slow, but there are several ways to reinforce this ability in a dramatic way.

Find out which attachments are best for your ADS

Another new feature added this year is the option to see your gun's exact ADS speed stat. This can be highlighted when hovering over a certain accessory and pressing the RT or R2 trigger (depending on the platform). Once extracted, choose the attachments that lend the lowest ADS time. However, keep an eye out for your sniper's latest unlockable barrel, as this will speed up your ADS by roughly 9,5 percent.

Vanguard's fastest snipers

While you may have all the accessories unlocked for your weapon, you may get an even faster time from one of the other two snipers. With the best ADS-compatible accessories on every sniper, we've found the Type 99 to be by far the fastest currently available, with only 459 milliseconds to reach full zoom. Following this, the Kar98k hits 481 milliseconds, while the 3-line rifle's maximum ADS speed can only go as high as 514 milliseconds until it is fully zoomed in.

If these previous tips still find you struggling with exploding nearby enemies, the Settings menu offers options that can alter the sensitivity of your scope once zoomed in. For this, go to the Controller category of the menu and increase the ADS sensitivity multiplier just a little bit. Since the default sensitivity resembles that of Black Ops Cold War, boosting it can give longtime gamers a more comforting feeling.
