With the modern setting of Call of Duty: Warzone now dead and gone, Warzone Pacific seeks to place a strong emphasis on the WWII period. The biggest indicator of this is its Vanguard Royale mode which allows players to only have gear with weapons, gear and machinery seen primarily in the 40s. This ultimately means you'll have to rework most of your classes, as many of Warzone's past killsteaks, guns, and even grenades will be banned from Vanguard Royale, but can still be used in other modes.
Most of the equipment that cannot be used in Vanguard Royale is the most technically advanced. For example, this includes popular items like Claymores, Heartbeat Sensors, Sentry Guns, and of course all Modern Warfare and Black Ops Cold War weapons. However, these can be replaced with more basic weapons such as Throwing Knives, Stun Grenades and Flashes and all weapons equipped with Vanguard.
