Shenhe offers Genshin Impact players a rather unique character to add to their party. Armed with her Cryo Vision and a Polearm, Shenhe can deal a lot of damage and also excels at buffing the damage dealt by other Cryo champions.
Easily the best thing about Shenhe is its overall adaptability. She is a pretty solid fighter in her own right, she can do a lot of Cryo damage and can fill a non-healing support role. Weapons
Ideally, Shenhe's best weapon is the Calamity Queller. This 5-star weapon is pretty much custom built for Shenhe, offering a passive that grants 12% additional elemental damage and the Consummation buff. After using an elemental ability, boosts ATK by 3,2% per second. This ATK boost can stack 6 times. When the character equipped with this weapon is not on the battlefield, the boost to Consummation ATK is doubled. This turns great off-screen support into one of the best in the game for any character who relies on attacks to get damage.
The Catch is also a solid option. While it may take a while to get it, it's worth it as a solid weapon that you don't need to want. Capturing will grant 10% energy cooldown and increase Elemental Burst damage by 16% and Elemental Burst CRIT rate by 6% at Refinement Level 1.
Anyone who has already managed to get their hands on Skyward Spine may also want to experiment with it to see if an overall CRIT build is something they want to take advantage of. The synergy between attack speed increases is worth exploring.

The Blizzard Strayer is an excellent option, as Shenhe is a Cryo character. To get the Blizzard Strayer set you will need to travel to the Dragonspine region and the Peak of Vindagnyr Domain. It is up to you to decide whether to use two or four pieces of the set.
- 2 pieces - Bonus Cryo DMG + 15%
- 4 pieces - When a character attacks an opponent affected by Cryo, their CRIT rate increases by 20%. If the opponent is frozen, the CRIT rate is increased by an additional 20%.
You can also choose to pair two pieces with a set like Gladiator's Finale which increases Attack Damage, or perhaps a Gambler set if you lack elemental skill damage.
