The Call of Duty franchise is back with a new entry in the series, Modern Warfare. A fresh reboot is needed for the franchise, taking the story back a bit with a greater focus on Captain John Price. Beyond the story, the game's multiplayer love is in full swing, with many players leaping back into the fray. A new multiplayer feature is missions. These missions will unlock special guns that players will be able to use, provided they can complete the objectives of each challenge. Here is what you need to do to take on the missions.
How to complete missions in multiplayer challenges in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare
You will find these missions in the multiplayer section of the main game. Click on the icon on first loading and you should enter the multiplayer section of the game. You have the option to immediately jump into a match, but you want to make sure your hard work in a match is recognized by the missions. They don't happen naturally like everyday challenges do.
To find the list of challenges, you need to select the "Barracks" option in the menu. Click on it and you should see the Multiplayer Challenges section is the first option. Click on it and you should be taken to the list where you can view your daily challenges and missions. Click on missions and you will see different named missions available with nice icons next to them. These are the last pieces of loot you will earn for completing them from start to finish.
Choose the mission you want to complete from the list and click on it. Now, if you want to edit the missions, you can click on one of them and proceed. However, you need to know that you can only have one active at a time. You can't do several at the same time. When you click on a mission that you are not working on and you already have one active, you will see the message above appear. It is asking you if you would like to confirm your choice because you will continue to progress with your first one. You will switch between missions and earn progress on your new selection only if you meet the requirements.
The requirements are in the lower-middle part of the screen. Each mission has eight objectives that players must complete. After finishing an objective, players will earn the rewards displayed in the lower right part of the screen. Each completed achievement comes with 1.000 XP, so it's a great way to level up if you're looking to jump through the ranks quickly.
There are many missions available for players to complete in the multiplayer part of the game with many rewards. Hop on those missions and jump into the fray to get started!
