When you are in the main menu, look at the bottom left of the screen and press options. This takes you to the large reading area where you can see the different options you can follow and play to optimize your gaming experience. For cross play, you are looking for the "Account" option.
When you click on it, you will find "Crossplay" as the first option in the menu. From there, you can choose to disable or enable it. Crossplay is immediately enabled in the game, so if you're playing on Xbox One or PlayStation 4 and don't want to confront PC gamers who have a mouse and keyboard, you can turn it off.
