The FIFA 22 team is looking to make Career Mode a much more realistic experience, so the developers have decided to add a new feature to this year's game. For FIFA 22, incoming prospects will have to work their way into the starting lineup and that road begins with arriving as an underling.
In FIFA 22, players created in Career Mode will have the ability to enter the game as underlings. This was confirmed by the development team as part of a clipboard blog post which was released in early August.
When you are on the bench, you can jump right into the game, right from the moment the manager puts you on the bench. You will have this option on the pre-game start screen. Players will be able to enter the game and play, or just simulate it.
Once you enter the game, you will be shown the match objectives from there. These goals will be important to complete for a few reasons. For one, completing match objectives will grant XP. Also, these will have an effect on whether or not you can take control of a seat in the starting XI.
