Loot may be the most important thing on players' minds in Destiny 2, but one of the other joys of the game is, of course, showing your achievements to your fellow Guardians. Bungie has added a new way to do this in the 30th anniversary bundle with the Vidmaster title.
In addition to being a clever nod to a rare title in Halo 3 and a classic set of challenge levels from Marathon Infinity, the new title and its Triumph Seal showcase your mastery of Destiny 2's new Dares of Eternity mode and dungeon Grasp. of Avarice. Just playing the new content is enough to overcome some of the challenges, although others require a bit of strategy to get the most out of your fire team and take down some final level enemies. Spend the treasure keys in Xûr's treasure room for eternity
Xur's domain of Eternity contains chests with Marathon-themed armor ornaments for each class, as well as other rewards like most of the weapons from the 30th Anniversary Pack and the Unixursal Voyager ship. Each chest requires a specific rank with Xur and a different amount of treasure keys depending on the item. By spending just a few of the keys you earn while playing Dares of Eternity you should quickly get this triumph under your belt.
Take on all challenges of the Wheel of Adversity in Dares of Eternity on Legend difficulty
Dares of Eternity works a little differently on its hardest Legend difficulty. Matchmaking is disabled and new modifiers are added on a weekly basis. Enemy rotations remain constant until weekly reset, so this will likely be one of the longest taking triumphs to finish.
Each challenge corresponds to one of the enemy factions in Dares:
- Mine defused: Falls
- Shattered Crystals: Beehive
- Defeated Minotaurs: Vex
- Defeated Commanders: Cabal
- Scourge destroyed: taken
Take out each of these on the Legend version of Dares and the triumph is all yours.

Both the regular and legendary versions of Dares will count towards this triumph, which should come naturally when you reach the grand finale of the Xur game show.
Defeat Xûr's Chosen in the Flash Round
This triumph requires a combination of luck and skill. The odds of getting the Lightning Round after defeating the final boss are random, and Xur's Chosen is an invisible Taken Minotaur spawning at different points on the field. More enemies than usual can make the lightning round quite frantic, but keep an eye on the villain during the brawl and take him down to get the Special Guest's Scar triumph and get one step closer to that seal.
Complete Dares of Eternity on Legend difficulty with a team of 2-4 Guardians
The pinnacle of difficulty for Dares of Eternity is right here: fewer Guardians, more Champions and modifiers to spice up each fight. Players will want to team up with a well-armed group of four to take on the Legend version of the activity. Make sure that all three types of champions are considered within the squad due to the possibility of each type showing up to ruin a race. Having strong sources of DPS in stock is also a must, with the health bars of each boss fight up and mixing options to add compensation is another must.
Guardians will want to make sure that the weapons, armor, and subclasses they bring into combat are suitable for each encounter before entering, as their gear will freeze as soon as they start loading into the activity. Dares of Eternity is a bigger challenge on Legend than the regular version, but the Guardians at the endgame level should have the upper hand. Complete the Starhorse bounties
The extraterrestrial equine demands excellence. Starhorse bounties require players to complete a series of three activities during a single run of Dares of Eternity, and progress will reset to zero on each if players do not complete all three objectives. Players can only hold one bounty of Starhorse at a time.
Fans can downplay this triumph with the lower tier bounties, but the most efficient way to do this is by completing some of the Weekly and Legend difficulty bounties, which provide additional progression and include more loot from Paraversal Haul rewards.
Earn the Exotic sidearm, Forerunner
Forerunner is Destiny 2's new version of Halo: Combat Evolved's iconic Magnum pistol. Players should easily be able to earn it through the Magnum Opus mission, and obtaining it adds the associated Triumph to your seal.
Complete the "Grasp of Greed" dungeon
The other main 30th anniversary offering is the Grasp of Avarice dungeon, a pirate-themed game within the legendary Loot Cave of the original Destiny. With the right team in tow, Guardians can start the dungeon from the Eternity node in the Director or at the Cosmodrome. Finishing the final match earns you the associated Triumph.
Obtain the exotic rocket launcher, Gjallarhorn
The return of the Loot Cave brought with it the most infamous weapon of Destiny ever, the Gjallarhorn rocket launcher. Fans can get it by completing the And Out Fly The Wolves mission, which requires a Grasp of Avarice run and some mundane tasks in the Cosmodrome afterwards.
Collect Wilhelm-7's messages in The Grasp of Greed
The Grasp of Avarice dungeon has twelve messages in a bottle for players to collect, telling the story of an Exo who got lost through greed inside the Loot Cave.

- Entrance to the cave after the crystal bridge on the right
- Rusted Gangplank: Inside the blue room with booby traps to the left
- Rusty Walkway: On a high ledge after crossing the open dam
- Door jump puzzle sequence: far left room with window inside a crawl space

- Skull face (after the end of the encounter with the sparrow race): to the right of its mouth
