How to eliminate plane 11 of the Spiral Abyss in Genshin Impact 2.1

How to eliminate plane 11 of the Spiral Abyss in Genshin Impact 2.1

At this point, if you can get past floor 10 of the Spiral Abyss, you should have no problem getting past floor 11. And if you can get the maximum stars for floor 10, you should also be fine on floor 11. How the top floor, floor 11 has "three rooms", each containing different fights. Defeat each room within a certain time frame to get the maximum number of stars and maximize your rewards.

Floor 11's “Leyline Disorder” is a unique and challenging addition to Genshin Impact, introducing a new “Corrosion” mechanic. The "Corrosion" mechanic places a greater emphasis on healing, as it deals damage to all of your characters through shields.

Once an enemy is defeated, all party members become "Corroded". Once corroded, your party members will lose HP every second, and your active party member can die from corrosion. Each corrosion lasts 10 seconds and can build up. This means that you will need more than just shields to live through this plane. At least one healer is required.

Characters to consider

Due to the mechanics of corrosion, you can't just rely on a shield. (This doesn't mean a shield is useless because there's still a lot of residual damage coming from enemies on this plane. You'll just need to pair your shield with a healer.) Consider these characters to take with you:

  • Bennet / Diona: A popular sentiment on this plane is that a character who focuses on healing such as Kokomi or Qiqi is required for this plane. But if you're dealing enough damage, the healing from Bennett and Diona should be enough. (Diona also arrives with a shield to give an extra layer of protection.)
  • Noelle + Geographic character: Noelle and another Geo character are a surprisingly simple combination, especially if your Noelle is at Constellation 6. If she is, you can perform her as the main DPS, shield, and healer in one cohesive package. She really shines on this floor by opening a lot of slots for your team. She's good with another sub-DPS Geo like Albedo, or you can even take Zhongli with her for more Geo DMGs and shields.
  • Kokomi: If you find that Bennett and Diona don't provide the care you need, Kokomi is a good option. She is particularly good on your second team, due to the prevalence of Pyro enemies.
  • John: Jean is probably one of the most helpful healers on this plan. He cleans up, deals good burst damage, and has strong team-wide healing. He fits this plan perfectly and is a better option than Qiqi.

Additionally, this plan sees an increase in HP and DPS controls for your characters. You should carry a strong main DPS like Ayaka, Xiao or Ganyu to deal as much damage as you can. Anemo displacers such as Sucrose, Venti and Kazuha are still universally useful.

Floor 11, Bedroom 1

For each half, all enemies will come in waves. There are many enemies for half, with 20 in the first half and 15 in the second. However, you have 300 seconds to get perfect sharpness on this floor, which is a generous amount of time. I was able to wipe out enemies pretty fast and keep my team with Bennett (using Tartaglia, Kazuha, Xiangling and Bennett) and Jean (using Yoimiya, Fischl, Venti and Jean). However, if your DPS isn't. as hard as you can Take your time.

Corrosion comes into play once an enemy is defeated. You have a lot of time, so you don't have to rush. The more enemies you kill, the more damage you will take. Take the time to heal in the waves.

Floor 11, Bedroom 2

This chamber works in a similar way to the last one. There are a lot of enemies to kill and therefore a lot of damage to take. There's not much different from this chamber to the last - if you can't take out enemies fast enough, take your time and heal whenever possible. Leaving an enemy alive to heal your team is a good strategy if you find it too difficult to sustain yourself or deal enough damage in time.

One thing to note is the Pyroslinger. If you don't have a hydro DPS and don't kill this enemy in time, it will generate a strong Pyro shield and take much less damage. It's not the end of the world if he gets his shield, but it's advisable to focus on this enemy first so he doesn't completely paralyze your time.

Floor 11, Bedroom 3

This is Spiral Abyss' first major DPS check, with both enemies having a lot of health. Fortunately, there are fewer enemies to deal with, so the Corrosion effect isn't as powerful. You don't have much time, however, with only three minutes to get a perfect clear.

An Anemo character will greatly benefit you in the first chamber to help you group these pesky enemies. Leave them alive for too long and they will seriously ruin your time by summoning tons of flies and shields. Do your best to keep these enemies from straying too far from each other. They have a large number of teleporters, so grouping and killing them before they can is important if you want to have fun.

In the second half, a Cryo DPS like Ayaka or Ganyu, or a Hydro DPS like Tartaglia is useful for Pyro Slimes. The Geovishap has a lot of health, so book your squad with the most DPS for this plan.

Once you pass floor 11, you are ready for the biggest challenge in the game - floor 12.
