Items released by the Nemesis

Resident Evil 3 | Solution to all the puzzles

Don't forget to defeat the Nemesis as often as you can.

As you will have easily noticed, what we are talking about in this paragraph is not a puzzle, but it is always something quite useful for gameplay purposes. Whenever you decide to take out the dear, old and "friendly" Nemesis, the latter will reward you with items that we are sure will be to your liking.

Below, we list them all:

  • Extended Charger (Pistol): You will get it from a supply crate after taking down the Nemesis for the first time (it will raise an arm and drop a chest). It is advisable to try your hand at the enterprise when you leave the subway power substation (first floor), in the city center, after having activated the electrical circuit. When the Nemesis bursts through the wall, hit it with a single grenade for a 100% guaranteed kill;
  • Balancer (Pistol): You will get this drop from a second supply crate, after taking down the Nemesis a second time. Your first chance to do this will be after the cutscene with the boss in question at the Donut Shop (First Floor) in the City Center. You won't be able to get this item from taking down the Nemesis a second time before this time. Use a grenade again, and in case you run out of hand grenades, use the explosive red barrels (assuming you have spared some on the way);
  • Shotgun cartridges: When you are chased by the Nemesis after returning to the train, you can take it down a third time using the barrels before going through a grid through which you will have to pass. Don't forget to grab the chest in question before entering the sewers;
  • Flame Rounds: You will be able to take down the Nemesis again after Toy Uncle's head falls on the streets of the Downtown. In this case, the supply crate will reward you with a large number of ammunition;

Train Tracks Enigma (Metro Station Office)

As part of the story, Jill will have to head to the Metro Control Room (First Floor) and plan the route for the train to take. If you are tired of puzzling, here you are combination that you will have to type:

  • RE-01
  • FA-02
  • RA-03
  • SA-02
  • FO-01

Hospital tape player puzzle

As Carlos, you'll need a cassette player and, of course, a tape to get into Bard's lab. Here are the locations of both objects:

  • Mangianstri: you will find it in the reception of the hospital laboratory (First Floor) on the counter. This is the same room you will use the player in when you can get your hands on the tape;
  • Deposit: you will find it in the infirmary room of the hospital (Second Floor); however, get ready for the clash with two Hunter Betas who make the look at this very object;

Enigma of the electrical panel (all fuses in five minutes)

Here is a short guide on how to quickly solve the puzzle:

  • After activating the goal (and the timer), a Pale Head will rise from the ground. Get rid of him quickly and go up using the platform: by doing so, you will find Fuse 1;
  • Go down the ladder and get ready to face two zombie dogs in front of you. Turn the farthest corner and take a zombie out before going through the opening;
  • Go up the stairs to the right, activating an elevator so you can continue up and down a staircase;
  • Approach Fuse 2 and watch out for the zombies right in front of you. When everything seems quieter, a Hunter Gamma will appear as you make your way back to the ladder. Kill him (or stab him) and come back up;
  • Go back and go through the door to face two zombies and a Pale Head. You can unlock the door in the safe room here too, but instead, head for the door on the left and go through it;
  • At the bottom of the ladder, there is a Hunter Beta waiting. Kill him, get Fuse 3 and go back to the ladder.
  • Go through the safe room and go back to the fuse box. Two Nemesis Zombies and one Zombie will be waiting for you, get rid of them as quickly as possible (if you don't know which weapon to use, we strongly suggest the shotgun);
  • Place the fuses in the fuse box and that's it;

If you manage to complete these operations in less than 5 minutes, you will unlock the trophy "Electric Slide".

The conundrum of the creation of the NEST vaccine 2

When you have combined the Adjuvant Sample and the Culture Sample to form the vaccine base, you will need to insert it into the machine in the NEST synthesis room 2 (on the Second Floor) to create the effective cure.

The goal is to bring the temperatures on all three columns to 50,0 degrees; you can do this by setting the temperatures to Medium, High, Low.
