In Sekiro Shadows Die Twice you will meet numerous enemies and bosses of all kinds, among these there is a large snake, which guards the road that leads to the castle, located in a ravine. You don't have to face it, you can always sneak around it. 

How to get around the snake in Sekiro Shadows Die Twice

The snake is not a real boss but he can become one if you decide to have a heated argument with him. Reaching the snake won't mark the end of your journey, as you can easily get around it.

The snake is located in a ravine, you will reach it after eliminating the second samurai, preceded by the first mini boss. Once you reach the snake, to get around it and continue you will have to use all your ninja agility.

So use the tall grass to go unnoticed, use the grappling hook when possible and move carefully when you approach it, finally use a sort of tent to hide and then escape from the place and reach the castle.

If you stay in the tent for a long time, the snake will approach you and you can blind it with the katana. The snake can take you out with a single bite, so make sure you have the resurrection and canteen for life, do not act hastily but take the time to continue further. The big reptile cannot reach you in the caves, use them to your advantage to hide from its presence.  

If you die before reaching the sculptor's idol and after passing the snake, do not despair, as the big animal has gone to life and you will not meet it again in a short time.
