Compared to the original Verdansk from Call of Duty: Warzone, the new Caldera map apparently has nothing in common with it. Starting on December 8, players will be able to witness an island with a volcano, beaches and large holiday resorts. In addition, Caldera seems to prefer having less important places to fall, but each of them is more widespread than those in Verdansk.
In total, there are 15 named areas for players to locate and land in, each of which are home to huge sections of the Caldera. The map also features over 200 markers that highlight important landmarks that can be visited. This island includes assets from Call of Duty: Vanguard, one of which is the Sub Pen multiplayer map. Here is the complete list of locations within the Caldera.
- Arsenal
- docks
- Runway
- Plains
- mine
- Peak
- Bridgehead
- Resort
- Lagoon
- airport
- Fields
- Secondary pen
- Power plant
- Capital
- To resort
Locations aside, Warzone Pacific will continue to have the popular Plunder and Rebirth variants of battle royale. These modes allow players to use weapons from any of the last three major Call of Duty games, but the new Vanguard Royale mode restricts players from using most of Warzone's weapons.
