How to access the underwater domain of the empty boat of a thousand gates in Genshin Impact

In the new Inazuma region of Genshin Impact, an underwater mystery awaits you. Players have noticed a teleportation point and domain lying under the sea north of Inazuma, and are wondering how to get in.

In this guide, we'll show you how to do just that, but it's a long and complex process that will require a lot of work. First, head to the Araumi region in the north of the island.

Here you will have to activate four electro pillars that will allow you to activate the cube in the center of the area, near the round root-shrouded tower. This will then open a tunnel under the round tower. This is the same process that will take players to the Araumi barrier for the Cleansing Defilement mission, so anyone who has already done this can simply go down.

For the people who need to open the round tower, there are four different electrical pillars that you will need to activate. Two are located very close to the central cube, on the southern side of the tower ruins. You just need to hit them both with an electrical ability to activate them.

The second pillar is located behind the round tower, surrounded by a puzzle cube. It's a good idea to switch to a Bow user here, so get Amber out if she's the only one you have. Hit the blocks in the following order:

• Top left
• Top center
• Top center
• Top left

Once completed, hit the pillar with an electrical ability. Finally, the last electrical pillar is located down towards the coast.

With that done, head down into the round tower and scan each of the three Earth Kitsune there with your Memento Lens. Three switches will appear on the wall behind them, so interact with those to open the floor below you. Go down to the room below and go left for the barrier puzzle, and right for the next cube puzzle to continue towards the domain.

When you get to the cube puzzle, go to the back of the room and turn around. Hit the left front cube twice, then hit the right back cube twice. This will cause a chest to appear nearby and the water level in the hole in the floor next to it will drop.

Get down in the water and swim to the end of the corridor, then go up the steps. Turn around to find another cube puzzle. Return to a bow user if necessary and hit the central cube twice to solve the puzzle. Turn around and use the door cube to open the grate behind you, go down the stairs and then go left, to the circular door.

Open it, then follow the long corridor to a boss room that houses the Perpetual Mechanic Array. Float across the room to the stairs on the other side and climb up them. You will come to a large cave with a teleport point that you should activate.

Keep moving and you'll come to a room with a puzzle on the floor. Climb up a raised block and a large number of blocks will jump out of the ground. Move all around to the right, then when you reach an already lit square, step onto the inside line and move all around to the left.
