Can Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Modern Warfare pistols be used in Warzone Pacific?

For months on end, developer Activision has been anticipating that several elements of Call of Duty: Vanguard would enter Warzone. Now that it has been confirmed that the battle royale will feature a new map set in World War II, along with Vanguard weapons and cosmetics, many fear that Warzone will discontinue items from old games soon. Fortunately, it seems the new Warzone Pacific name hasn't forgotten its roots.

When the new Vanguard themed map launches on December 2nd, players will be able to continue using the unlocked weapons and cosmetics from Black Ops Cold War and even Modern Warfare. According to the Call of Duty blog, Warzone Pacific will offer three modes (Caldera Battle Royale, Caldera Plunder and Rebirth Island) that will allow players to choose between weapons and operators from one of the three latest titles. However, the upcoming Vanguard Royale mode will be exclusive to WWII weapons and cosmetics.

Therefore, in terms of weapon upgrades, those from Black Ops Cold War and Modern Warfare can still earn XP and upgrades; however, players will now need to be cautious about which mode they are playing to do so. Additionally, the integration will continue to remain the same for Warzone Pacific Battle Passes, as players will be able to progress through each by earning XP in these previous titles.
