In Far Cry 5 there are 9 support characters to unlock for your Roster, specialized in different sectors, which could be useful in the course of the missions. Let's find out how to get them and what they are for.

Far Cry 5: Support Character Guide

In the game, there are 3 major regions to explore and a fourth final one. The support characters as anticipated are 9, you can unlock 3 per region, as long as you complete the missions associated with them.

From the map you can immediately identify the missions to obtain them, characterized by the icon of the support character. Here are all the details: 

• Boomber: Excellent recon, allows you to mark nearby enemies and gives a support weapon as well as biting enemies
• Nick Rye: Allows you to have support from the sky with a shower of bullets and bombs 
• Grace Armstrong: Thanks to its laser sight it is able to eliminate enemies from a distance
• Cheeseburger: Attract the attention of enemies in combat and attack them mercilessly 
• Squat Drubman Junior: Allows you to hit vehicles and enemies from a distance with a rocket launcher with infinite ammo
• Jess Black: It cannot be attacked by wild animals and is able to conceal its presence from enemies 
• Weather in Puccettina: Knocks down an enemy silently and can conceal its presence when moving through the grass
• Sharky Boshaw: Resistant to explosion and impacts caused by it
• Adelaide Drubman: Provides air support as well as an escort aircraft

You can unlock them in the various regions by completing the missions related to them:

• Boomber: You must save him by eliminating the enemies and breaking the cage
• Nick Rye: You must recover his plane and help him annihilate the waves of enemies
• Grace Armstrong: You have to help her eliminate the enemies
• Cheeseburger: You have to locate its location and revitalize it, after which protect it from waves of enemies
• Squat Drubman Junior: Where to help him retrieve his father's vehicle
• Jess Black: You have to help her to eliminate the enemies in the various outposts
• Puccettina: You must find her and lead her home with the help of the flesh, protecting her from enemies
• Sharky Boshaw: Where to help her eliminate the waves of enemies infected by Glaudio 
• Adelaide Drubman: You have to co-operate with it to help it destroy targets

Boomber, Nick and Grance can be unlocked in the John Seed region, Cheeseburger, Hurk and Jess in the Jacob Seed region and Puccettina, Sharky and Adelaide in the Faith Seed region.
