Date and time of Genshin Impact maintenance 2.1

The Genshin Impact 2.1 update is scheduled for release on September 1st and has already been made available for pre-installation on PC and mobile devices. According to the patch notes, the update will add brand new content to the game, including new characters, weapons, bosses, islands, events, and more, along with a number of optimizations and improvements.

Before the Genshin Impact 2.1 update is released on all platforms, miHoYo will shut down the game servers for maintenance for a few hours. Here is the maintenance schedule for the Genshin Impact 2.1 update.

Genshin impact maintenance date, time and rewards

Maintenance of Genshin Impact 2.1 will begin September 1st at 06:00 (UTC + 8) and will last approximately five hours. During this time, players will not be able to access the game, so it is recommended that you complete all missions or missions before maintenance begins.

miHoYo will distribute a total of 300 Primogems for free to all Travelers who reach Adventure Rank 5 or above Adventure Rank as a maintenance fee. Primogems will be sent to players via in-game mail within five hours of maintenance being completed.

Players are advised to claim free Primogems rewards as soon as possible as the mail will expire after 30 days.
