FIFA 22: How the UCL Road to the Knockouts promotion works

The UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League and UEFA Europa Conference League are in the middle of the group stages and FIFA 22 players can watch as part of the latest Football Ultimate Team (FUT) game promo. The UCL Road to the Knockouts promotion includes a new batch of upgraded Player Items and these cards may become eligible for further upgrades. What are the criteria? For HER, UCL Road to the Knockouts cards are special live cards that have a higher suit than regular base items. However, these UCL items have the potential to receive several additional upgrades, if the players featured on those cards meet the requirements. In addition to the initial upgrade, UCL cards can be further upgraded if one or both of the following requirements are met:

1. Whether their team qualifies for the knockout stages of the current competition.
2. If your club achieves three wins in the remaining four games of the group stage.

Road to the Knockout players don't need to play any of these games for the listed team to get a boost. However, if a player's team meets any of the following requirements, but the player is no longer registered with the club, that card will not be eligible for a further upgrade.

If a team of players is eliminated from one of the tournaments (UEFA Champions, UEFA Europa, UEFA Europa Conference), that person's article cannot be updated. This, for EA, includes players who qualify for the UEFA Europa League by finishing third in their UEFA Champions League group.

Road to the Knockouts players can only receive updates for any activity that takes place in the group stages.
