FIFA 22: How to complete the EFL Championship Squad Foundations Objectives Challenge

On November 23, EA Sports and the FIFA 22 team released a new Squad Foundations Objectives challenge for Football Ultimate Team. Squad Foundations challenges in FUT 22 work in a very similar way to last year's. Users will have to complete a series of tasks using players from a specific league. Complete these tasks and you will receive a variety of rewards, which includes player items from the league on display.

Three main rewards have been established for this challenge: Player Items for Ben Davies (JAN 84), Max Lowe (JAN 84) and Ivan Cavaleiro (JAN 85). How do you get all three? Let's take a look at the goals.

To fully complete this Squad Foundations challenge, FIFA users will need to complete four different objectives. All of these must be completed in Rivals or via Squad Battles.

The four objectives are as follows:

• Poisonous volleyballs - Score six volley shots in Squad Battles with min. Semi-pro (or rival) difficulty (prize is 84 OVR CB Ben Davies (non-exchangeable))
• airmail - Assist eight goals with Cross using EFL championship players in Squad Battles on min. Professional difficulty (or Rivals), with min. seven EFL league players on your starting squad (prize is 75+ OVR Rare Player Pack (non-tradable))
• EFL Elite - Score using EFL championship players in eight separate Squad Battles matches on min. Professional difficulty (or Rivals), with min. seven EFL league players on your starting squad (prize is 84 OVR LWB Max Lowe (non-exchangeable))
• Winning mentality - Win 10 matches in Squad Battles on min. Professional difficulty (or Rivals), with min. seven EFL league players on your starting squad (prize is 75+ OVR Rare Player Pack (non-tradable))

Complete all four and you'll receive the Ivan Cavaleiro Player Item with GEN 85.

As this challenge requires users to use EFL league players, it might be best to try grinding them into Squad Battles. The reason is that there aren't many top tier players from this league in the game, which could leave you at a disadvantage when playing online. EFL players are specifically required for three of the four goals. This sentiment is especially true of those free-to-play users who may not be investing much in England's second league players.

But if you feel up to the Rivals challenge, that option is on the table. Just make sure you meet the requirements for the last three objectives and have at least seven EFL players in your starting XI.

This challenge will expire on January 20, 2022.
