FIFA 22: How to Complete Wayne Rooney vs. Thierry Henry

Christmas is here and also a new team challenge in FIFA 22. A new team challenge is now available and, for those unfamiliar with the FUT game in general, it is a battle where players choose from either side. . Once you have chosen a faction, you will attempt to complete the objectives associated with the event. Complete these objectives and you will not only earn XP, but also help increase your faction's average XP. The side with the most XP at the end of the challenge will be declared the winner.

For the next few weeks, FIFA players will be tasked with choosing between a pair of Premier League legends: Wayne Rooney and Thierry Henry. So what do you need to do and which one to choose? Let's take a look.

How to complete Rooney's team match against Henry

To select a side for this challenge, click on the Achievements tab at the bottom left of the FUT Main Menu. Scroll to the Teams section, then select Rooney or Henry, depending on your preference.

If you select Rooney, here are the objectives to be achieved for this challenge:

• Surprising instinct - Score three goals with a TS in a Squad Battles match with min. Professional Difficulty (or Rivals) (prize is 300 XP)
• Perfect passage - Help an English player in five separate Squad Battles (or Rivals) matches (rewards are 600 XP)
• First actor - Win five Squad Battles matches at minimum. Professional Difficulty (or Rivals) matches with at least seven Premier League players in the starting lineup (rewards are 60 OVR Wildcard tokens and 600 XP)
• Delight at the draft - Win a match in an Online Draft (reward is 500 XP)

If you choose Henry, these are the following goals:

• Surprising instinct - Score three goals with a TS in a Squad Battles match with min. Professional Difficulty (or Rivals) (prize is 300 XP)
• Perfect passage - Assist a French player in five separate Squad Battles (or Rivals) matches (rewards are 600 XP)
• First actor - Win five Squad Battles matches at minimum. Professional Difficulty (or Rivals) matches with at least seven Premier League players in the starting lineup (rewards are 60 OVR Wildcard tokens and 600 XP)
• Delight at the draft - Win a match in an Online Draft (reward is 500 XP)

Users will need to complete at least one achievement to be eligible for the winning group rewards. Group rewards are one cheer and one XL cheer of the winning player, plus a Prime Electrum Player Pack.

As for recommendations, this is difficult to predict. However, we will go towards Rooney. Henry is further from his playing days than Rooney, who just retired earlier this year. And given the popularity of the Manchester United legend, we think the former England star will come out on top at the end of this challenge.

This event will end on January 7th.
