Genshin Impact: all the characters of Anemo in the ranking

The characters of Genshin Impact are divided into a certain element and each character within it has a different degree of usefulness. It's great to have characters from different elements to diversify your teams and elemental reactions, so it's important to know which characters from each element are worth.

The Anemo element in Genshin Impact is primarily a support element, with only one main DPS character with this element. However, Anemo's characters largely rank as some of the most influential in the game, thanks to their ability to move enemies, deal tons of support damage, and help boost other characters' DPS.

In this sense, Anemo is probably the best element of the game. True to that sentiment, there are really no bad Anemo characters in the game. Here are all the Electro characters in Genshin Impact ranked from least useful to most impactful:

Traveler

The Anemo Traveler is sadly the worst Anemo character in the game. He can deal a respectable amount of damage, but other Anemo characters can deal more damage while doing the same things Traveler does.

You should only use this character if you are missing a character with adequate crowd control, such as Sucrose, Kazuha, or Venti. The traveler has a niche use as a support for other Anemo characters, as he can reduce Anemo's RES on enemies by 20%, but that's still not enough most of the time.

Sayyu

From this point, all of these Anemo characters are perfectly strong and usable. Sayu is so low on the list doesn't mean she's bad - she's a great sub-DPS and healer. Unfortunately, she only exists as a budget Jean.

Sayu can deal a lot of damage while healing, which is essentially Jean's shtick. Stick to Jean if you have one, unless you really like Sayu's character.

Jean

Jean is a powerful nuker and healer, but he lacks some of the usefulness that other supports in the game have. He is stronger than other severe healers in the game due to his high damage potential and cleanses him with his Elemental Burst. He can even abuse fall damage on tank enemies with his elemental ability.

Her support skills increase as you get more constellations, but that makes her an expensive character like a five star. That said, she has the potential to increase attack speed, movement speed, anemo damage, and even reduce incoming damage.

Sucrose

Sucrose has a similar role to Kazuha, having respectable amounts of crowd control and increasing team damage. While Kazuha directly increases elemental damage, Sucrose shares elemental mastery which increases the damage of your elemental reactions.

Kazuha outperforms Sucrose with increased individual damage, improved crowd control, and generally being easy to play. That said, he is not astronomically stronger than sucrose. Sucrose is an important character to have.

Xiao

Xiao is a strong five-star main DPS character that deals tons of area damage. She is also a lot of fun to play, with her Elemental Burst increasing her dive damage tremendously.

He is a bit weaker than other low-constellation main DPS characters due to the lack of Elemental Reactions. As a pure Anemo DPS, he has to rely on raw numbers. His numbers are very strong and Xiao is an excellent choice as a carry.

Winds

Venti is known for its Elemental Burst which trivializes a lot of fights, due to the enormous crowd control it has. While some fights may appreciate a Venti, more and more enemies are becoming resistant to its Elemental Burst.

As enemies continue to resist crowd control, Venti begins to lose some value, and we've seen this happen when Kazuha outshines Venti in combat. Venti is still extremely strong, however.

Kazuha

Kazuha is an incredible all-in-one package of damage, team support, and crowd control. His passive allows you to increase team damage while spinning elements, and his elemental ability brings tons of crowd control.

Additionally, it deals a lot of damage, with its Elemental Ability and Elemental Blast contributing tons of damage to the team. Kazuha will always shine as a support and will probably never get bad because of his design. He is not only extremely strong, but he is future proof, and you should take him next time.
