Genshin Impact: Bantan Sango Case Files: The Warrior Dog Day One Event Guide

Genshin Impact has just started a brand new event for version 2.3, the Bantan Sango Case Files: The Warrior Dog event. Here, your task is to rescue small animals using a special item while dodging some very powerful enemies.

First, you'll need to speak to Katherine to begin a worldwide quest that will take you to the event. After completing the easy quest, which consists of talking to some NPCs, you will encounter your first stealth event, where you have to rescue 3 small animals.

Equip the Ubiquity Net in the item inventory. This is what you will use to save animals. Equipping the item and using it will replace your Elemental Ability with the Ubiquity Net, which allows you to catch small animals.

Then, go to the event site. You will walk towards the ferocious enemies that you must sneak past first. These enemies are… warrior dogs. Yes, the monsters you have to sneak past are dogs and make no mistakes. These cute pups may look non-threatening, but they have the potential to shoot your entire squad. Seriously.

Stay out of the line of sight of the warrior dog and move towards the fox in the distance. If you are captured by a warrior dog, you will not be allowed to save an animal. The ride will also attract the attention of these furry furies. You can also activate fireworks around the pups to distract them or activate clouds of smoke that obstruct their vision.

An easy place to rescue the first animal is behind the fox, through the bushes. Use your elemental skill and just aim for the fox.

Here is the location of the next pet, a cat. You should be able to sneak up behind the cat and catch it easily.

Here is the position of the last pet. Use fireworks to distract the dogs, then use your Ubiquity Net to catch the dog.

The second part of today's event is heading to another survey site. Here, captive animals are trapped in small cages, surrounded by Treasure Hoarders and Kairagi. It is simply a matter of locating the animals and defeating all enemies.

And this is all! Today's efforts will reward you with 120 Primogems, some Mora, some Hero's Wit, and x4 Jeweled Branch of a Distant Sea.
