Genshin Impact: Predator: how to get it, stats and materials for ascension

The Predator bow is a unique free-to-play weapon that was released alongside the free character Aloy. While the stats and passive benefit them greatly, the weapon has a unique drawback that will inevitably limit many players from using it. Unfortunately, the passive only works when playing on the Playstation Network.

To get the Predator bow, all you need to do is log into Genshin Impact via the Playstation Network. You will receive this bow for free along with Aloy in your messages. You can log in anytime prior to updates 2.3 to receive the bow, so you still have some time to grab this weapon from your inbox. (Note, you must be at least Adventure Rank 20 to get the bow.)

However, there is a problem with the Predator. The passive of the weapon, Strong Strike, will it only works if you are on Playstation Network. As a result, it loses most of its charm if you are playing Genshin Impact on PC or mobile. However, it * is * possible to use the bow for its stats. It's just that the passive won't work.

• ATK: 42 basic ATK at level 1, 510 basic ATK at level 90
• Secondary statistic: ATK%
• Secondary statistic level: 9% at level 1, 41,3% at level 90
• Passive: Strong Strike: Inflicting Cryo DMG on opponents increases this character's normal and charged attack DMG by 10% for 6s. This effect can have a maximum of 2 stacks. Additionally, when Aloy equips Predator, ATK increases by 66. Effective only on PlayStation Network.

Is the predator good?

If you're not on PlayStation Network, no. This weapon becomes a simple stat stick due to the loss of passive on mobile and PC. It works in a pinch if you're in dire need of an F2P weapon with a substat of ATK%, but then again, there's the Prototype Crescent which still has better stats and a usable passive.

But if you're playing on the Playstation Network, the Predator is a solid F2P option for Cryo transports like Aloy or Ganyu. The Prototype Crescent is likely to win, however, as the Predator cannot be perfected at the moment.

However, you can only perform one arc on one character at a time, so if you happen to use both Ganyu and Aloy, the Predator isn't a bad option. (Again, only if you are on the Playstation Network.)
