How to dribble in FIFA 22

Dribbling in FIFA 22 can be a game changer. It can help you fend off defending users and, in turn, open up space for the ball carrier on the pitch. FIFA 22 has several dribbling controls that users should be aware of when entering the pitch, what exactly are these controls? Let's take a look.

There are four main moves you should familiarize yourself with: regular dribbling, strafe dribbling, agile dribbling, and slow dribbling. The latter can only be used in the 11v11 game. Also, you should know some of the other basic motion controls that focus on ball movement and shielding.

Here's a look at the basic controls for these moves:

To shift Xbox control PlayStation control
Dribble / Move l Left analog
Shield LT + Pull and hold (direction) L2 + Pull and hold (direction)
    Primo tocco/knock-on RT + R (direction) R2 + right analog (direction)
Stop ball RT + No direction R2 + No direction
Jostle (while ball in the air) LT L2
Free kick Dribbling LB+L L1 + left analog
    Dribbling agile RB+L R1 + left analog
    Slow Dribble (11v11 only) LT + RT + L (direction) L2 + R2 + Left analog (direction)
    Skill moves R Right analog

FIFA users can create some pretty powerful skill moves with the right stick (for Xbox) or the right analog stick (for PlayStation). While we don't cut down on the three moves listed above, the Skill Moves option can be key to warding off users and creating awesome dribbles.

Make sure you are familiar with the moves listed above. Dribbling is very important in this game, for obvious reasons, and it is even more critical in online play. Do these moves well and you will be on the right track.
