How to get the Cold Negation Pulse Rifle in Destiny 2

The season of arrivals to Destiny 2 brought with it a new pulse rifle, the Cold Denial. Cold denial is a high impact weapon, so shoot slowly and hit hard. It also has greater accuracy when you are not moving and are aiming downward.

You will get your first Cold Negation when you reach Rank 45 in the Season Pass. It's a free tier reward, so there's no need to pour money to get your hands on it. Hug the levels until you reach grade 45 and you will get cold negation.

The Season Pass version will be released with the following benefits:

• Smallbore
• Magwell flared
• Momento Zen
• Headseeker

After that, cold denial will enter your Umbrali engram loot and you can get it with the new Umbrali Engram rolls, just like any other legendary weapon. Thanks to Prismatic Recaster you can access this season, you will be able to focus your Umbral Engrams. Turning them into pyramid-focused human engrams should narrow down the weapons you can get into a loot pool that contains cold negation.

At rank 30, you will have access to the falling guillotine sword and once you have cold denial you can begin to focus your engrams into arrival focused engrams. These will only drop the Cold Negation Pulse Rifle or the falling guillotine, making them a really easy way to cultivate roles for both weapons.
