How to get the flamethrower in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Zombies

Flamethrowers remain one of the funniest weapons to use when facing off against a horde of zombies. The flow and the combustion it emits will incinerate anything that even tries to make its way towards you. Oddly, Call of Duty Zombies doesn't use flamethrowers much. Sure, there are a lot of fire traps you can activate in its past, but there was no way to use one in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War until the fifth season of content was released. Here's how to get the flamethrower in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Zombies.

The Flamethrower can be used in both a round-based Zombie map and Outbreak. Like the multiplayer version, the Flamethrower is a support series, so it's not something you'll always have with you. To get one, you can either hope for a drop or create one.

Flamethrowers are epic (purple) quality score series, so they don't drop often. That said, they have a better chance of being dropped by more powerful enemies, such as Megatons or HVT Zombies. They can also be earned in gold loot chests if you are lucky when you open them.

If you're not lucky enough to drop a flamethrower, you can craft one at any worktable for 100 high-end recoveries (blue).

When you have the flamethrower, you will have 100 ammo in total. When it is out of stock, you will need to buy a new one. You cannot reload ammo. Plus, you won't have to worry about reloading your weapon. Hold the trigger and you will keep blasting the flames until you run out.
