Pokemon BDSP Breloom Location, how to evolve, type and ability

To help you catch Breloom in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, we have prepared this guide in which we will walk you through the process of getting Breloom and what stats, abilities and evolutions it has.

Pokemon BDSP Breloom Location

Breloom is a Mushroom Pokemon of two types, Grass and Fighting. This Pokemon may not seem that intimidating on the surface, but it does have some incredibly powerful abilities.

Before we dive into these skills, let's look at the process of getting Breloom in Pokemon BDSP.

How to catch Breloom

The only way to get a Breloom in Pokemon BDSP is to evolve a Shroomish. So, to get a Breloom, you must first find yourself a Shroomish in the BDSP Pokemon world.

Finding a Shroomish is a relatively simple process. First you need to acquire the national Pokedex, which is an upgraded version of your regular Pokedex.

The difference between the regular Pokedex and the national Pokedex is that the latter contains information about Pokemon from all over the Pokemon world, rather than just from a specific region.

To get your hands on one of these, you need to see all 150 Pokemon in the Sinnoh region. You don't have to catch or interact with any of these Pokemon, you just have to watch them.

After seeing all 150 Pokemon, talk to Professor Rowan in the Sandgem Tower and he will deliver you the national Pokedex.

Now head to the Great Marsh in Pastoria City and go up to the second floor of the atrium. When you look through the binoculars, you will see fifteen daily Pokemon.

So all you need to do now is wait for a Shroomish to show up and you can get it yourself.

And once you get a Shroomish, you just need to get it to level 23 and it will evolve into a Breloom.

  • Technical: This skill increases the power of Breloom's weakest moves (moves that have a base power of 60 or less) by 50%.

How to evolve Breloom

Strengths and weaknesses

Since Breloom is a Grass and Fighting type Pokemon, it is very strong against Ground, Water, Grass, Electric, Rock and Dark types.

The Pokemon Breloom it is strongest against are:

  • Celebi (Psycho and Grass)
  • Groudon (terra)
  • Kyogre (Water)
  • Palkia (Water and Dragon)
  • Tyranitar (Rock and darkness)

Breloom is weak against Poison, Fire, Ice, Psychic, Fairy, and Flying-types. An important thing to note is that since both types of Breloom (Grass and Fighting) are weak against Flying-types, it will take 4x damage from Flying-type moves; unlike the double damage of the other types it is weak against.

The Breloom Pokemon against which it is weakest are:

  • Dragonite (Drago e Volante)
  • Ho-Oh (fire and fly)
  • Lugia (Psycho and Steering Wheel)
  • Mewtwo (psychic)
  • Rayquaza (Dragon and Steering Wheel)
