Now, it's no longer a mystery with a fearsome "Evil Monkey" being revealed as the creature soon preparing to make its debut. Zarude's reveal is on trend, so naturally Nintendo is still holding some details close to his chest. We do know, however, that the Legendary Pokemon is a Dark / Grass-type creature in the style of a monkey who knows the Leaf Guard ability.

Whether you own and play Pokemon Sword or Pokemon Shield on the Nintendo Switch, Zarude will be added to both versions of the game at a currently unspecified time later in 2020. We will keep you updated as and when an official release of Pokemon Sword and Shield Zarude the date is announced.
