Pokemon Unite Blastoise Moveset

Pokemon Unite Blastoise: Moveset and how to unlock

As with all Pokemon in Unite, the move set varies based on the evolution you are currently using.

Squirtle Moveset

At the start of a match, you will play as Squirtle. He has the Water Gun ranged attack and the Skull Bash dash attack. Once he reaches level 5, he will evolve into Wartortle, with Hydro Pump as a ranged attack and Water Sprout as an area attack. This is different from Squirtle's quick attack, as it hits all targets in a given area, rather than just one enemy.

Wartortle moveset

At level 7, you have the option to add a new move to Wartortle's move set: the Dash Surf move or the Rapid Spin power attack. You can only choose one, so choose according to your play style. If you prefer to whiz around the arena, Surf is a better move, but if you're at the forefront of battle, Rapid Spin will deal more damage.

Blastoise Moveset

Finally, at level 9 you will finally evolve into Blastoise. It will keep the same move set as Wartortle before, then Hydro Pump, Water Sprout, Surf or Rapid Spin. However, you will also unlock his Unite move, called Hydro Typhoon. It is a torrent of water that will blow up all opponents in your way and is Blastoise's most powerful move.
