Sea of Thieves Guida: Le Quest

Sea of ​​Thieves is an always online, that is a title that requires a perennial online connection, despite being playable both in single and in pairs or in party (up to 4 players). The aim of the game is to become the most fearsome pirate and to do so you have to complete numerous missions.

The missions featured in Sea of ​​Thieves they are basically divided into 3 types:

• Gold Hunter
• Order of Souls
• Merchant's Alliance

The aforementioned quests can be obtained by talking to the various pirates present in the many and many outposts in the game. Each pirate allows you to accept up to 3 missions simultaneously.  

The Gold Hunter missions, can be obtained by talking to the shady individual near a hut with the symbol of a key, you will receive one or more treasure maps, your goal is to:

• Go to the boat
• Compare the map obtained with the nautical charts you find on your ship
• Locate the treasure island and reach it
• Find the location of the buried treasure based on the X on the map
• Dig at the point indicated with the spade (shovel)
• Retrieve the treasure and bring it to the shady individual on one of the many outposts in the game

This way you will receive both money and reputation in the Gold Hunter missions.

The Order of Souls missions can be obtained by talking to the Medium near a Skull Hut, she is a sorceress, you can't go wrong. Again, you can accept up to 3 missions at a time. The goal is to find and eliminate the required skeletal captains, returning their skulls to the old hag, on one of the many outposts in the game.

So after accepting the mission, you have to proceed as follows:

• Analyze the documents received to find out the position of the captain
• Go to the boat and locate the island on the nautical charts
• Head to the island and search it to find the skeletal captain
• Kill the captain and retrieve his skull
• Sell ​​the skull to the witch at one of the outposts 

By doing so you will receive money and reputation in the Order of Souls missions.

The Merchant's Alliance missions, can be obtained from the pirate that you usually find near the pier, has a sort of merchant's banquet with a nautical chart behind him, you can't go wrong. Also in this case you can accept up to 3 missions simultaneously and to complete them you must:

• Collect the required items from one of the islands in the game (it doesn't tell you which ones, you'll have to search them one at a time)
• Sell ​​the items on the requested island within the allotted time 

You will receive both money and reputation in the Merchant's Alliance missions. 

In all cases there is a premise to make, to start a mission it is not enough just to accept it or rather to buy it from the various secondary characters, you must also proceed as follows to start it:

• Pick up the missions from the various characters
• Go to the emplacement
• Place the mission on the captain's desk in his cabin
• Vote for the mission with X

ATTENTION: If you are playing in multiplayer, all players must accept the mission by voting it to start it. 

The first missions are FREE, after which you will have to pay some money to purchase them. To become the legendary pirates, you will have to complete the most missions in all 3 sectors. Initially you will have only simple missions available, once you have reached the required level, you will be able to accept more complex quests with greater rewards.

During your long sea voyages, you will often come across 4 events:

• The Raids: Special missions characterized by the appearance of a skull in the sky
• The naval battles: Events where you have to defend your crew and boat from the attack of other players
• The Kraken: You will have to defend the boat and the loot from the attack of this gigantic and dangerous sea creature
• The Wrecks: You will have to and will be able to explore sunken ships to recover substantial loot

Being a multiplayer focused game, it goes without saying that playing solo is not recommended, as basically the roles aboard the ship are:

• Sailor
• Captain, and therefore in charge of the helm
• He is in charge of nautical charts and therefore of the route
• Gunman, indispensable in case of attacks

Playing in 4 is therefore to be preferred. Despite the captain, therefore the one who directs the ship can have a compass on the right, he cannot consult the nautical maps simultaneously, so there is a need for a player who indicates the path to follow and a second who sees any dangers in the vicinity. among rocks, rival ships and so on. 

Tips and Curiosities 

• The chests cannot be opened, they must be delivered to the merchant with the key to receive large rewards, so you will often come across abandoned chests, which you can recover and sell at the outposts
• Turning off the lights during long night crossings can help you stay inconspicuous if there are other players nearby
• To restore the health bar, you will have to use bananas, which you can buy or recover on the various islands
• While exploring, be sure to stock up on wooden boards, cannonballs and bananas, which you can and should deposit in the barrels in the hold, to use when needed.
• If you hit any obstacle or get bombed, the ship will begin to take on water, use the wooden boards to cover the leaks and buckets to throw the water into the sea
• You can shoot yourself from the cannon to quickly reach the island, just remove the cannonball from it
• During the game you will often come across skulls, especially in the wrecks, recover them and take them to the witch, he will reward you with a lot of money 
• There are several chests in play, bring them to the shady individual to receive money
• There are crates containing various materials, bring them to the pirate near the dock to receive money
• Avoid staying in the water for too long, you could be attacked by a shark 
• Upon your death, you will be teleported to a cursed galleon, from where you can come back to life through the special portal, appearing again on your boat.
• If the ship is destroyed, you will see a man appear in the sea with a lighted torch, talk to him to get a new boat
• Items purchased by merchants, whether they are clothing or other, can be equipped through the chests present both on the ships and on the outposts, inside the shelter
• Avoid drinking RUM as it does not provide any help, it does not restore the health bar but only causes the pirate to feel unwell, making crossings and movements difficult
• If a player disturbs your game, you can always initiate a vote to lock him in the cell
