Shadow of the Colossus su PS4 does not only offer the same game seen on PS2 o PS3 with a clearly superior graphic sector, but also numerous contents to unlock between weapons and equipment of various types, let's find out together how to get them!

How to unlock everything in Shadow of the Colossus

Before you can enter the Time Attack mode, where you can unlock numerous weapons and useful items, you must first complete the Story mode. Once the adventure is complete, you will unlock New Game +! 

There are 16 challenges in Normal and 16 in Difficult to complete, every 2 giants defeated within the allotted time, you will be rewarded with certain items, if you complete all the challenges, you will unlock the King of Speed ​​Trophy. To access the Time Attack, start the New Game + game at Normal or Hard, depending on the items you want to get, approach the statue of each colossus and press R2 to pray, after which start the Challenge by selecting YES.

Before launching the challenge, you will see the goal to beat and your record. To get all the items, you will have to defeat all 16 giants in Time Attack on Normal and Hard difficulty, then finish the game 3 times. 

• First time to unlock New Game +
• The second time in New Game + mode on Normal difficulty, clearly beating all times and then completing the adventure 
• Third time in New Game + mode on Hard difficulty, clearly beating all times (in this case it is not necessary to complete the adventure again) 

ATTENTION: You must eliminate the colossus via the time attack, praying at the colossus statue in the temple! There is no need to rejoin the colossus on horseback, as you did the first time you completed the game!

You cannot therefore take advantage of the additional health or stamina bar, even if you are in New Game +! During the clashes you can keep the timer under control, do not forget to go to the pool in the temple, the same where the sword is thrown by the priest in the end of the game, every 2 giants defeated within the time limit to get the reward.

Note: You cannot use the items you unlock in Time Attack mode, but only by killing giants as normal via Story!

Normal Objects

Below are all the items you can get if you complete the various giants in Time Attack on Normal difficulty, naturally beating the allotted time:

• Hissing Arrow: Allows you to distract the Colossi
• Shroud of Force: Increases sword damage 
• Force Mask: Significantly increases sword damage 
• Lizards Stone: Allows you to identify lizards with bright tails, useful for increasing the stamina bar
• Sour brown in color: A new color for Agro
• Mask of Power: An enhanced version of the Mask of Force, therefore, allows you to inflict more damage on the giants
• Shroud of Deception: It makes you invisible to the eyes of the Colossi
• Blinding Arrow: It explodes on impact and allows the Colossi to be distracted

Difficult Objects

Now let's see the items you can get by completing all the giants on Hard in Time Attack mode:

• Thunder Harpoon: More powerful than an arrow, it can interrupt the Colossi's attacks
• Sword of the Sun: Reflects sunlight even indoors
• Cloak of the Shaman: Decreases the damage suffered 
• Mask of the Shaman: It further reduces the damage
• Fruit Map: It allows you to find fruits more easily, which increase the life bar
• Canvas of Despair: It can be used for parachuting 
• Cursed Wander Skin: Play as Cursed Wander
• Sour brown color: New color for Agro
• Agro in black color with the Ico coat of arms: New Skin for the steed 
• Sword of the Queen: Allows you to destroy a colossus much faster 

Therefore, we recommend that you first finish the game on Easy difficulty, then finish it on Normal + by beating all records, and finally on Hard + by beating all records. We would also like to inform you that the New Game + mode allows you to restart the adventure with the stamina and energy bar increased in the course of the previous adventure, clearly you cannot take advantage of this in the Time Attack mode.

You can restart or end the time attack at any time. Every 2 giants defeated you will see a short cutscene that will indicate the presence of a new reward in the pool, so reach it and press R2 near the light source in the water.
