What is the Jailbreak event in Call of Duty Warzone?

Call of Duty changes things up in their Warzone games by introducing new events to the game. These events are random events during the game and offer a new way to play. One of the events, the jailbreak, gets inmates to play and can rock the current Warzone game rankings. The new event would encourage players to stay in the match hall, even if they have lost.

The Jailbreak event allows all inmates stranded in the Gulag to have a second chance without having to beat another player in a one-on-one match. All Gulag players will return to the game and fight with those who went on to survive the Warzone.

Other than those players, anyone who lost the Gulag game or died a second time and watched the Warzone game is back in the game. It gives players one more reason to stick with Warzone, even if they sit there twirling their thumbs. While it might make sense for those who died in the middle of a Warzone game and are doing well, it might not make sense for those who died early and immediately lost the Gulag respawn game. Those players might be better off heading back to the lobby and queuing up for another round.

Regardless, jailbreaking seems like a fun way to make things a little different in Warzone. Stay true to your game after death to see if a jailbreak occurs. If you survive the match and it happens to you, you may want to look skyward to see how many last minute players re-enter the game and cause problems for you and your team.
