Where is Xur today and what does it sell in Destiny 2? - May 1, 2020

Xur shows up in Destiny 2 every Friday. He does it to try to sell us the latest exotic goods he found in the void and also to remind us that he only works on weekends. What he does during the week, nobody knows, but suppose it involves trying to figure out what he should feel about selling us the following week.

Xur no longer gets a map icon in the game, so it's up to us to hunt him down and find out where he is. To save time, this guide will tell you where he is hiding and what he is selling, so you can decide if you want to part with some of your legendary shards.

What Xur is selling

This week Xur is selling the following exotic items. As always, it sells one exotic weapon and one piece of exotic armor for each class.

• Khepri's Sting - Hunter's Gloves
  
• Severance Fence - Titan chest armor
  
• Skull of Dire Ahamkara – Warlock Helmet
  

What you should buy from Xur this week

The Monte Carlo isn't the best exotic auto rifle in the game, but it's a good option. Dealing damage with it reduces cooldown time in melee and can fully charge melee skills if you're lucky. Melee kills will also increase the damage it deals you and give you ammo. So if you like to slap, it's a good option.

Khepri's Sting will cause an instant smoke bomb if you hit someone with a fully charged melee. Smoke bombs will also increase the damage and you will have Truesight in the cloud of smoke.

The Severance Fence will detonate final strikes in melee and will also increase damage as final strikes against powerful targets. Finally, the Skull of Dire Ahamkara provides super energy from Nova Bomb kills and will also give you increased damage resistance as you cast it.

It's a good week for people who like good punching options, but not great for everyone else.
