Where to find Baryon Bough in Destiny 2

Bungie has added many new items and mechanics in Destiny 2. One of the new items requested by Petra Venj, in particular, is Baryon Bough. No, this is not the next rising star in hockey, but rather the planetary material in the Dreaming City.

It has many different features in the game, so players may need to collect quite a few. In this guide, we'll show you where to do just that.

How to get the baryon branch?

Baryon Bough can be located in many regions of the Dreaming City. It looks like a bright purple tree that forms more completely as you get closer. From a distance, it looks just like a cloud of purple dust.

If you burn your own Ghost Shell, you will be able to drop in a couple of useful mods that will help you track down the resources you need. First, you can set up mods that will automatically detect a resource or chest node. However, you can only equip one at a time.

The resource nodes will be marked with a triangular icon and you can choose various ranges with a different mod capacity cost. They go up to 75 meters. Another helpful tip is that this extends from your range of vision, not your character model, so if you're looking through a sniper scope, it will extend the range.

Chests will be marked with a small chest icon. These are actually a better source than resource nodes, as they will produce two Baryon Boughs per chest, while the nodes will give you one. You can put a mod on your Ghost that can give you extra resources, taking it up to two, but this will only happen sometimes. There are also two Combo mods, which will show both chests and resources, but at shorter distances.

Baryon Bough can be found in many ways, including the following:

• Collect purple trees in the city of dreams
• Found in the Resource and Region Chests
• As a reward for killing the bosses
• As a reward for completing public events

It is also possible to purchase Baryon Bough from the Spider in his lair on the Tangled Shore. Each day, Spider will see a rotating cluster of assets, and these may include Baryon Bough. They will be sold in stacks of five for a Legendary Shard.
