How to complete Operator Mason's mission Impulsive Insubordination in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone

Mason has arrived in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Call of Duty: Warzone as a new operator skin. This can be obtained by purchasing the Season 6 Battle Pass for 1.000 PC. When you purchase it for one of these platforms, you'll also unlock Mason's Operator mission, Impulsive Insubordination, by gaining access to a couple of colorful skins that modify this character. You will have to complete these tasks, one at a time, to earn both colors. This guide analyzes all of these goals and the best way to achieve them.

Impulsive insubordination

These are all tasks and rewards you can earn by completing Impulsive Insubordination while using the Mason Operator.

For the first task, all you need to do is get 25 eliminations. You can do this in any game mode in the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War multiplayer game modes or by making your way through the Call of Duty: Warzone maps. We highly recommend that you use the Plunder game mode for Warzone to give you the best chance of survival.

The second objective is to eliminate five other players using any lethal equipment. Popular lethal weapon choices include Claymore, frag grenades, C4, semtex, proximity mines, and termite. You can use any of these against any opponent and progress in this mission.

For the third objective, you will need to get two headshots in a single match. Depending on your play style, this may be easier for larger maps where players regularly shoot each other. However, if you're decent with a shotgun, you can probably take it out in one of the smaller matches because no armament is required. You can use any weapon you feel most comfortable with, making it an easy challenge. This is another good objective to complete in Warzone.

The ultimate goal is to earn five kills without dying. Again, how you complete it is up to you, based on where you feel most comfortable. Warzone might be a decent choice given how many players drop on the map and how fast you can drop on them. However, you may find it better to complete a multiplayer match, avoiding the heartbreak of getting four kills and then dying during a Warzone match.

After completing all the objectives, the two Mason recolor skins should be yours and you will have earned a good amount of experience points.
